Positive thinking involves dreams. What are your aspirations? What have you always wanted to do? Have you written them down? Do you believe them?

Successful people write their dreams down, and visualize them. They fully participate in them, and believe in their outcome.

If you don't write, you can also put a collage together of pictures, photos and quotes that best represent your dreams as well. Put it in a place where you will see it every day.

Being a writer, I have tended to write my aspirations down. When I was sick, one of them was to be healthy. Aspiring to be healthy while in treatment gave my mind focus. It was part of my belief system that helped me achieve my goal.  Now remaining healthy and living a healthy lifestyle is permanently on my list. Running is also on there. The half marathon is a favorite distance of mine, and there are many races I'd like to run over time. Two races per year is my limit, as work and family still take up a fair amount of my time.

I follow through by signing up for the race. There have been some races, over the years, that I have been unable to run in. It doesn't matter, however, because the money always goes towards a good cause.

The key to success is to believe in your dreams..... keep healthy, keep active, and finish that race!
